Dr. Niti Shah

Dr. Niti Shah is a budding healthcare professional from Mumbai with a promising career in the field of Diabetes and Thyroid diseases, her key skill areas. Her proficiency lies in the management of Uncontrolled/Brittle DM, Complicated DM, Juvenile/ Type 1 DM and Gestational/Pregnancy Induced DM.

Dr. Shah paved the path for a career in medicine with the accomplishment of MBBS (Terna Medical College, Navi Mumbai), CPS – Diabetology (Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai) and Dip. Diabetology (Annamalai University, Chidambaram). She then fulfilled a residency period of one year under the wings of Dr. Shashank Joshi and Dr. Vijay Panikar in the Department of Endocrinology at Lilavati Hospital (Mumbai) during her CPS training. On completion of residency, Dr. Shah continued to assist Dr. Vijay Panikar for a year and half at Dr. Panikar's Diabetes and Thyroid Care Clinic thereby procuring valuable working experience. In 2012, Dr. Shah finally delved into private practice. In the course of her career, Dr. Shah has conducted lectures in Diabetes for the benefit of general practitioners. Moreover, she has organized many community and patient awareness programs and her work has featured in newspapers like Gujarat Samachar, Mid-day and Mumbai Mirror.

On the research front, Dr. Shah has supervised many clinical trials as an Investigator. Her clinical practice at K G Medical Centre (Bandra), Critical Care Hospital (Andheri) and Advanced Multispeciality Hospital (Vile Parle) is based mainly in the suburb areas. With a holistic approach towards healing, Dr. Shah integrates medications with patient education and a thorough knowledge of the disease to facilitate complete and speedy recovery.
